Find out the best possible ways to farm Roothold Keys in Diablo 4. They let you access Roothold Dungeons in Season 7 of the game.
In Diablo 4 Season 7, you can get the best gear by accessing special dungeons, known as Roothold Dungeons. However, getting in can be quite tricky since you need to get hold of Roothold Keys before you can complete these dungeons. The Season of Witchcraft doesn’t make farming these keys an easy prospect.
However, in this guide, we’ll explain some of the best farming methods when trying to maximize your collection of Roothold Keys in Diablo 4. These methods have the greatest likelihood of rewarding you with the keys.
Different Ways of Farming Roothold Keys in Diablo 4
The best way to farm the Roothold Keys at the moment is to simply farm Whispers in Headhunt Zones throughout Sanctuary. Watch out for blue-green zones while exploring. These indicate a Headhunt Zone. Make sure to clear them before their timer runs out. When that happens, that particular zone disappears, and another one like it appears somewhere else in Sanctuary. After you complete Grim Favors, you can turn in the bounties to receive caches. Regardless of which cache you pick, you’re bound to get some Roothold Keys if you keep doing them for some time.
Opening the Whisper Caches will also provide you with Whispering Keys. These keys can open Silent Chests found in Headhunt Zones. Some of the Silent Chests will reward you with Roothold Keys, although it doesn’t seem to happen too often.
As of this writing, the drop rate for Roothold Keys is extremely low. However, the above-mentioned methods are your best bet to get your hands on some keys so that you can attempt the Roothold Dungeons. To maximize your chances, attempt the above-mentioned farming methods while the world is set to Torment I difficulty.

How To Use Roothold Keys in Diablo 4 To Access Roothold Dungeons?
Once you get one of the Roothold Keys, simply go to your inventory and proceed to the Keys tab. Select the Roothold Key in question, and you’ll get the option to activate the Roothold Dungeon. Then, travel to the Dungeon’s location and complete it. Roothold Dungeons are similar to regular dungeons, but with one major difference. In these special locations, you’ll have to clear the overgrown roots of the Tree of Whispers.
