Stellar Blade was a massive triumph for Shift Up and was a perfect blend between intense combat and a good narrative. Fill in the shoes of Eve as she sets out to reclaim Earth and save humanity from extinction. The stakes are high, and how the story ends will greatly depend on the number of activities you do before the credits start rolling.

This article will cover every ending in Stellar Blade and go over how to get them. This game deals heavily with the themes of humanity and how one choice can create a chain reaction for the future.

Explaining the Multiple Endings of Stellar Blade

These are all the endings you can get in Stellar Blade:

  • Cost of Lost Memories
  • Return to the Colony
  • Making New Memories

Each ending has specific requirements that must be met, and there is no way to get all three in one playthrough. Lily plays an important part in all of these endings, and your affinity level is a key factor in getting the first two endings.

Cost of Lost Memories

During the Selection of Species main mission, Eve will be presented with a choice to either take Adam’s hand or not. Choosing the first option will result in Lily’s death, and Eve will be fused with Adam. Another important tidbit is that your relationship with Lily must be below 100%, otherwise this ending will be locked out for you.

To prevent increasing your affinity level for Lily, you can avoid accomplishing side quests. In summary, these are all the requirements to secure the Cost of Lost Memories ending:

  • Ensure your affinity level for Lily is below 100%.
  • Take Adam’s hand.

Doing so will unlock the ‘Cost of Lost Memories’ trophy and a special cutscene. This will trigger the EVE Protocol, and the final boss for this version is the Providence.

Return to the Colony

This ending is the polar opposite of the Cost of Lost Memories version. Your affinity level for Lily does not matter for this ending, and all you have to do is reject Adam’s hand. Doing so will lead to a fight where Adam becomes the Elder Naytiba and will be the final boss. This is a much better ending to the story that doesn’t involve Eve fusing with Adam in the end.

This is a brief rundown on how to acquire this ending:

  • Do not take Adam’s hand.

Making New Memories

The requirements for this secret ending are a mixture of the first two. To unlock this ending, you will need to max your affinity level with Lily and take Adam’s hand. This ending will result in Eve accepting the choice of becoming a hybrid being, and Lily survives to tell the tale. Both characters are free to live their lives and make new memories together.

These are the requirements to achieve this ending:

  • Reach the max affinity level with Lily.
  • Accept Adam’s hand.
  • Fight the final boss.

Achieving this ending will also unlock the Making New Memories trophy.

Best Stellar Blade Ending

Making New Memories is, without a doubt, the best ending in Stellar Blade. The conflict between humanity and the Neytiba has seemingly come to an end with both Adam and Eve united, and all characters are alive for a new beginning.
