Although most of these Pals can be found in the wild, some can only be encountered by other means, such as hatching eggs or summoning them as Raid Bosses.
Blazamut Ryu is one such Pal that can only be summoned through the Summoning Altar. The Dragon and Fire-type variant of Blazamut was introduced in the Sakurajima update. Since Blazamut Ryu can’t be found in the wild, the only way to get this rare Pal is by hatching its Huge Dragon Egg, which is rewarded upon defeating it as a Raid Boss.

How To Summon Blazamut Ryu Raid Boss in Palworld?
Palworld has a unique way to fight Raid Bosses by summoning them through the Summoning Altar. You can use the mysterious structure only once and need to rebuild it for the next summon.
You need a Blazamut Ryu’s Slab to summon the Pal at the Summoning Altar, which requires 4 Blazamut Ryu’s Slab Fragments to craft. These fragments are located in Sakurajima Island Dungeons. Once you summon the Blazamut Ryu Raid Boss, the Summoning Altar will disappear, and you will be left with a 10-minute timer to defeat the Pal.
How To Defeat Blazamut Ryu Raid Boss in Palworld?
Defeating the Blazamut Ryu is the only way to add the Pal to your Paldeck, as you can’t capture Raid Bosses with spheres. The Dragon and Fire type is the best overall element type in Palworld, as it takes advantage of three other elements while being weaker against only one.
This makes Blazamut Ryu one of the best combatants, making it difficult to defeat. Taking Water-type Pals is your key to winning against Blazamut Ryu. Moreover, since Blazamut Ryu is a Raid Boss, you can use all the Pals at your base to attack it.
How To Effectively Use Blazamut Ryu in Palworld?
Defeating the Blazamut Ryu Raid Boss rewards a Huge Dragon Egg. Hatch the egg in the incubator to get your own Blazamut Ryu. As mentioned, the Dragon and Fire type makes Blazamut Ryu one of the best combatant Pals. Its high health, attack, and defense stats make it ideal for most battles, except against Water-type Pals.
Its partner skill, “Dragon Kaiser,” makes the elemental attacks more powerful by enhancing all Dragon-type attacks while mounted. Beyond its combat prowess, the Pal also possesses a high level of work skills—Kindling level 4 and Mining level 4, making it the best in both categories.
