We are referring to the Curio of the Nine in Destiny 2 that many veterans are receiving when completing content for Heresy.
In this guide, we’ll explain how you can acquire the item shrouded in mystery and how you can use it in the game.
Getting the Curio of the Nine in Destiny 2
There is only one way to get the Curio of the Nine. You will need to participate in the Nether Power activity, which tasks with finding boons in the Nether. If you can locate corrupt and Major boons, you will receive bonus XP. Besides the XP reward though, this activity will also add a Curio of the Nine item into your inventory.
Be warned however, that discarding this item will forever remove it from your inventory and you can’t reacquire it later on.
How To Use the Curio of the Nine Item
The developer has left it a mystery for now, and currently, the item is unusable. However, the description reads,
“While this item does not currently appear to have a purpose, guard it with your life.”
This warning itself indicates that Bungie might have some major purpose or use for the item in the future. However, at the moment, there is no clue to what those plans could be. You’ll just have to wait and watch. At any rate, acquire the item and keep it safely stowed away in your inventory for the time being.
