With the latest A Universal Time Update 5.3, players received a new Spec: the Dragon. It is a legendary melee style inspired by the Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu, from the Yakuza series. This ability transforms your Standless character into a martial arts master who relies on raw power, combos, and discipline. To unlock it, you must complete a questline from Sotaro Komaki in the Champion District and master four skill stages to unleash its full potential.
In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock it step by step.
Unlocking Dragon in A Universal Time
Follow these steps to unlock the Dragon ability:
1. Talk to Sotaro Komaki (NPC)
Go to the Champion District and look for Sotaro Komaki. He gives you the Dragon quest, but make sure your character is Standless before talking to him. Once you start the conversation, you will automatically receive the Dragon Quest and can begin your journey.
2. Perform 4 Revelations
Find and activate the four training points across the map:
- Fists of Fury
- Bicycle Mayhem
- Dragon of Dojima
- Dragon Kick
Then return to Komaki.
3. Defeat Komaki’s Pupils
After that, Komaki will ask you to defeat his pupils. You can find these NPCs near the Champion District. When you beat them, you will receive three scrolls: the Scroll of Remembrance, Scroll of Fist Reversal, and Scroll of Resurgence.
4. Defeat Sotaro Komaki
When you have all three scrolls, return to Sotaro Komaki and challenge him to a fight. This battle is much tougher, so prepare well. If you win, you will receive the Scroll of the Dragon, which is a Legendary item.
5. Unlock Dragon Ability
Once you have the Scroll of the Dragon, use it while you are Standless to gain the Dragon ability. This will officially unlock your new Spec and give you access to powerful martial arts techniques.
How To Get Dragon Mastery
After unlocking Dragon, you can upgrade your mastery to gain new moves:
