Both Dusk Man and Dawn Wings Necrozma variants in Pokemon GO can be acquired during the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day. Additionally, you also have a chance of encountering a shiny variant of the Pokemon if you are lucky. To make things easier, players are given extra raid passes. However, defeating them won’t be an easy task. 

You can take on the Pokemon GO Necrozma Fusion Raid Day on December 14, 2024. The event starts at 2:00 and goes on until 5:00 PM local time.

How To Catch Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma in Pokemon GO

You can get a chance to catch Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma in Pokemon GO through a 5-star raid. You can get five Raid Passes which you can use to participate in the event from spinning Gym Photo Discs. 

If you want to get more out of the event, you can purchase an event ticket for $5 US in the game. The event ticket grants the following bonuses:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs for a daily total of 15
  • Increased chance of obtaining Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

After succeeding in a Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma raid, the Pokemon will revert to a regular Necrozma where you can try and catch it. After catching the Pokemon, you can fuse them with either Solgaleo or Lunala using 30 Necrozma Candy, 30 Cosmog Candy, and 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy to get Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma, respectively.

You can actually solo the Dawn Wings Necrozma Raid using specific Pokemon types. This is because they have an exploitable double weakness. However, the second one, the Dusk Mane Necrozma Raid, cannot be completed alpine. This Pokemon has high defense and HP, making it hard to take down.
