Activision just unveiled numerous details about the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta. As seen with previous releases, this time too, the Multiplayer Beta will be conducted in two separate stages. In the first phase, only players who have Early Access will be able to join in on the action. During the second phase, any fan will be able to participate in the Beta for free.

But in this article, we’ll be focusing strictly on the Early Access for Black Ops 7 Beta. So, without any further ado, let’s explore how you can get your hands on the Beta before anyone else.

Black Ops 7 Beta: How To Get Early Access

The Black Ops 7 Beta Early Access phase is scheduled for October 2, 2025, and is set to conclude on October 5, 2025. Currently, there are two ways to join the Early Access Beta. They are as follows:

  • Pre-ordering Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
  • Getting Open Beta Early Access codes.

Check out the sections below to learn more about both of these ways to access the Open Beta early.

Pre-ordering Black Ops 7

The first way of getting Early Access is by pre-ordering the game. These pre-orders can be digital as well as physical editions. Moreover, you can pre-purchase any version of the title, i.e., the Standard or the Vault Edition. As long as you have pre-ordered, you’re all set!

If you’ve pre-ordered the game digitally, all you need to do is just wait for the Early Access Beta dates, and as soon as it goes live, you’ll be able to participate in the beta. However, if you have pre-ordered a physical copy of the game, you must redeem an Early Access Beta code that will be provided to you at the point of sale.

Open Beta Early Access codes

What if you want Early Access but don’t want to pre-order Black Ops 7? Well, fortunately for you, the COD NEXT 2025 event awaits. Simply tune in to the event on September 30, 2025, at 9 am PT. You can catch the livestream on the official Call of Duty Twitch account. Watch the livestream for at least an hour to get a code for the Early Access Beta.

You can also catch the livestream on YouTube. However, these keys will be dropped randomly during the broadcast and don’t necessarily guarantee you Early Access.

That said, do note that your Activision account must be linked with your Twitch/YouTube account. Once you receive the key, you must redeem it within 48 hours after the event has ended.

Nevertheless, if you didn’t get a chance to play the game early, the Open Beta still awaits. The Open Beta, as the name suggests, will be free for all, as long as they have a PC or Console that supports the game. It’s scheduled to begin right after the Early Access Beta concludes on October 5, 2025.

That covers just about everything that you need to know about getting Early Access to the Black Ops 7 Beta.
