Do you wish to play as Conan in Mortal Kombat 1 during the Early Access time period? Here’s a quick guide to help you.

Conan the Barbarian is joining the Mortal Kombat 1 roster soon, as part of the Kombat Pack 2. The Barbarian is promised to be released in the game on January 28. This is when everybody will have access to it, for a price, of course. But what of Early Access? We know the deal with DLC characters in MK1. You can either wait till the character officially comes out, or have Early Access to him through the Khaos Reigns expansion/collection.
The Khaos Reigns Kollection has been around since the game’s release and it contains additional content that you might enjoy as a Mortal Kombat 1 fan. This is a one-time purchase that also makes you eligible for your Kombat Pack 2. However, only the players who have the Khaos Reigns Kollection will have Early Access to the characters in these packs.
Conan, being a guest character, is also a part of the same deal. So, if you have the Khaos Reigns expansion, you will be able to play as Conan the Barbarian starting on January 21 because the edition in question gives you a week’s worth of Early Access.
Is Conan the Last Guest Character in Mortal Kombat 1?

The Khaos Reigns Kollection promised a few things. These include:
- Mortal Kombat 1
- Kombat Pack 1
- Khaos Reigns Story
- Kombat Pack 2
- JCVD Skin for Johnny Cage
Of all these, only the Kombat Packs contain guest characters. Kombat Pack 1 saw the same Early Access system and all the characters from that pack are now available for individual purchase. If you want all the DLC characters from that pack, you can also buy the first Kombat Pack instead of purchasing the Khaos Reigns Kollection.
Kombat Pack 2, on the other hand, is not yet available in stores like the first one. Once it is completed, NetherRealm will probably make this second pack also available in stores.
This second pack contains the following playable characters:
- Noob Saibot
- Cyrax
- Sektor
- Ghostface (Guest)
- Conan the Barbarian (Guest)
- T-1000 (Guest)
All the abovementioned characters have been added to the game except the last two guest characters on the list. Now that we know Conan’s full release and Early Access dates, T-1000 is the only guest character left. Unfortunately, we don’t have much knowledge of when the character will arrive. So, to answer the question about whether Conan is the last guest in MK1: he is not.
