Hammer of the Just
Hammer of the Just is a rare versatile Warhammer in Acts 3. It has unique enchantments that enhance its effectiveness against specific enemies.
Thanks to the Slay the Wicked bonus, the Hammer of the Just deals an additional 1d6 Slashing damage when wielded against Fiends and Undead. This extra damage makes it a good choice when facing these nefarious creatures.
In addition to its combat capability in Baldur’s Gate 3, the Hammer of the Just grants the ability to read the thoughts of creatures during conversations. The Detect Thoughts spell, which can be cast once per Long Rest, can be cast at a level 1 spell.
You can equip it to your character’s main hand weapon slot in the inventory, providing additional bonuses and buffs. The user needs Martial Weapon proficiency or suffers penalties while wearing the weapon.

How to Get Hammer of the Just in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can get Hammer of the Just from offering to Tyr chest located in the Stormshore Tabernacle’s basement. It’s a temple dedicated to Ferun deities in Lower City Act 3.
Stormshore Tabernacle is located west of a Basilisk Gate fast travel point, right near the entrance to Baldur’s Gate Lower City. Look for the grey building on the map. Getting inside is easy, but the hatch door to the basement on the left is locked and marked red. If there’s a priest around, wait for them to turn away, then sneak in to pick the lock. Once done, head to the basement.
Once you climb down the ladder, your team should pass perception checks to spot traps, including gas pits and pressure plates. Disarm them if necessary, and proceed to the offering room, where you’ll encounter five ornate chests. Each chest is dedicated to a different deity worshiped in the Stormshore Tabernacle temple, with one placed in the center. The Hammer of the Just is inside the first chest to the right.
