Want to achieve the “Lord” status in Marvel Rivals? Check out this quick guide to see how to reach the top proficiency with a character.
Do you want to achieve that Lord status in Marvel Rivals? It is cool to see somebody who has mastered a character in the game. After all, the roster is large and varied, and it can be difficult to stay loyal to just one character. However, “main-ing” a hero is essential to mastering it in this game.
Now that we know the basics of becoming a “Lord” (by staying true to just one hero), how can we actually achieve it? Well, first you must go to the Hero tab from your home screen. Select the hero of your choice and head to the Proficiency section. Head to the Rewards section here to see what level you are on.
The sequence goes: Agent, Knight, Captain, Centurion, and Lord. So, to reach the last bit, you must complete the challenges listed in the Level section under Proficiency. These challenges grant some experience that adds up to the level.
Each hero has different challenges to complete. However, these are repetitive. This means that you will find the same challenges for each proficiency level. But as you keep completing these challenges, some of them will be replaced by a bigger number. For example, dealing 85,000 damage to enemies as a hero rather than 60,000.
Just keep repeating these steps. Don’t forget to check in on the proficiency level regularly. Moreover, keep claiming the rewards that you earned.

Reaching Lord Fast in Marvel Rivals
As I mentioned above, the challenges aren’t unique to each Proficiency level. So, getting to Lord tier isn’t that difficult. In some cases, the numbers are replaced by bigger numbers. And it’s possible that one or two challenges may be completely revamped for a certain level. This is why we want you to follow the following tips:
- Check in with the Proficiency screen regularly to see where you stand and take notes of the challenges.
- Keep selecting the same hero you wish to reach the Lord Proficiency with.
- Don’t treat it like a chore. It’s a game. Feel free to switch characters whenever you want. You can’t achieve the Lord status right away, anyway.
- Equip the reward that the game gives you after a certain level because that’s all there is to this system.
Note that all heroes require separate proficiency levels. All of them require equal grind. So, you can alternate between your favorite heroes to develop proficiency with all of them eventually.
