Learn how to get the Magnifying Glass in Grow a Garden and use it to see crop prices instantly, no more guessing or wasting harvests.
The Magnifying Glass is one of the most helpful tools added in Grow a Garden’s Mega Summer Harvest update. It lets you check the value of any fruit before picking it, so you can decide whether it’s worth harvesting or leaving on the tree.
If you’ve ever plucked a fruit only to find out it wasn’t worth much, this tool will save you a lot of time and regret.
What Does the Magnifying Glass Do?
Once equipped, the Magnifying Glass shows you a fruit’s exact sell price, weight, and mutation traits, all without removing it from the tree. That means you can plan better, sell only your most valuable crops, and keep the prettiest ones in your garden for looks.
It’s useful for players growing high-tier plants, and don’t want to ruin their layout to check a price. However, remember that one set has 20 uses before it vanishes from your inventory.
How To Get the Magnifying Glass in Grow a Garden
There are two main ways to get the Magnifying Glass: from the Gear Shop, or keeping an eye on shop alerts via Discord.
1. Gear Shop
You can find the Magnifying Glass in the Gear Shop, located on the north side of the map. Talk to Eloise to browse the shop.
- Price: 10,000,000 Sheckels or 99 Robux
- Type: Mythical Gear
Keep in mind: because it’s Mythical, the Magnifying Glass doesn’t appear in the shop all the time. You’ll need to wait for it to rotate back in.
2. Use Discord for Alerts
To avoid checking the shop constantly, you can join the official Grow a Garden Discord. Their bot sends shop updates every 5 minutes, including when rare gear like the Magnifying Glass is available.
Hop in right when it shows up, and you won’t miss your chance.
How To Use the Magnifying Glass in Grow a Garden
Once you’ve bought it, equip the Magnifying Glass from your inventory like any other tool.
Then:
- Walk up to any tree or plant
- Click the fruit while holding the Magnifying Glass
You’ll instantly see its value, weight, and mutation info. If it’s a big seller, go ahead and pick it. If not, leave it and check again later when it’s grown more.
