The Maple Apple is a Prismatic-tier crop added in the new Zen Event in Grow a Garden. It fits the theme of the update with a maple tree look and a glowing fruit. Despite its low drop rate, it’s one of the better-selling crops in the game right now.

How To Get The Maple Apple Seed In Grow a Garden
You can’t plant this seed from the start. It only comes from a special Zen Seed Pack or the premium Exotic Zen Pack. Here are both methods explained:
Method 1: Free-to-Play (Zen Shop)
You’ll need Tranquil plants and Chi.
Step-by-step:
- Grow Tranquil Mutation Plants
These are dropped from Zen Aura event effects, Tranquil pets, or the Tanchozuru pet. - Get Chi Currency
- Bring your Tranquil fruits to the Zen Shop NPC.
- Trade them for Chi (12 Chi = 1 Zen Seed Pack).
- Alternatively, grow the Zen Tree to generate Chi.
- Buy a Zen Seed Pack
- Talk to the same Zen NPC.
- Buy the Zen Seed Pack for 12 Chi.
- Open the Pack and Hope for Maple Apple
- It has only a 0.5% drop chance, so this will take time.
- You can slightly boost your chances by upgrading the Zen Tree (it drops packs over time).
Warning: It’s very rare. Many players open dozens of packs and don’t get one.

Method 2: Premium (Robux)
Want to speed things up?
- Buy Exotic Zen Seed Packs in the in-game store.
- Costs:
- 1 pack = 199 Robux
- 10-pack bundle = 1,699 Robux
- Drop rate: 8% (much better than the regular Zen pack)
This still doesn’t guarantee the Maple Apple, but it saves grinding time.

Despite its rarity, it’s not the most valuable crop, Bone Blossom still holds that spot. But it’s solid, especially since older top-tier seeds are now unobtainable.
Is Maple Apple Worth It?
It really depends on how you like to play. The Maple Apple has a high base and average selling price, so if you’re able to multi-harvest it, you can make a lot more money over time. That makes it a solid long-term investment, if you manage to get one.
However, it’s also one of the rarest seeds in the game. It takes longer to grow than most crops, and the only way to get it is through Zen packs, which either cost time or Robux. So while it’s valuable, it’s not easy to get or quick to farm.
You can speed up growth using sprinklers or boosting pets, but expect it to be slow.
Getting the Maple Apple in Grow a Garden is all about luck and patience. It’s one of the rarest seeds in the Zen Event, but its value makes it worth chasing if you want high-income crops.
