Marvel Rivals makes Moon Knight the new host for the Phoenix force with his new epic Phoenix Knight costume.
Marvel Rivals first gave us a glimpse of the Phoenix Knight costume for Moon Knight. Now, it has finally arrived in the game starting on June 20, 2025. As the name suggests, Moon Knight is serving as a host for the popular Phoenix force from Marvel comics and the 20th Century Fox X-Men movies. It is a primal force of the Universe that has a special connection to the Grey family but is also known to possess other heroes at times. Now that it resides in Moon Knight, he has a brand new “fiery” appearance. Although he didn’t get any special powers (because costumes are strictly cosmetic), this teases the possibility of Jean Grey’s arrival in Season 3 as a playable hero. Till then, you can celebrate the Phoenix force with this new costume.
Ways to Obtain the Phoenix Knight Costume in Marvel Rivals
There are two ways of obtaining the Phoenix Knight costume bundle in Marvel Rivals. These go as follows:
- Visiting the in-game Store
- Visiting Hero Profile
Whether you pick the first or the second method, the costume bundle for the Phoenix Knight will cost you 1600 Units, while the skin alone is available for 1400 Units instead. You can further save your blue currency by purchasing the Phoenix Knight skin bundled up with Iron Fist’s Binary Fist costume for 2200 Units.
Visiting the In-Game Store
You can keep things straightforward and follow the steps given below to purchase the new Moon Knight skin and its related cosmetics:
- Launch Marvel Rivals and click on the Store tab at the top.
- You will find Phoenix Knight bundled with Binary Fist in the New section of the shop. Scroll below to find its individual bundle.
- Click on the desired bundle and it will open a new page for you. You can then select the skin on top of the content window on the left to buy it for 1400 Units. Alternatively, you can click the yellow button at the bottom that says “1600 Units” to buy the entire bundle.
Visiting Hero Profile
If you are not in the Store or don’t wish to visit it either, you can follow the following steps to buy the skin and its related cosmetics:
- After logging into Marvel Rivals, head to the Heroes tab at the top.
- Find and select Moon Knight among other heroes on the roster.
- Head to the Cosmetics tab here and you will automatically arrive in the Costumes section.
- Select the Phoenix Knight costume and click on the Acquire button on the bottom right.
- Now you can either buy just the skin or the entire bundle.
