Discord Orb is a sort of online coin you can use to redeem Nitro, profile badges, and nameplates. You can earn the Discord Orbs by completing certain quests. Once you have collected enough Orbs, you can head over to the Shop to redeem some of the items featured there.

However, one of the most important items you can get is Nitro, especially a 3-day Nitro. You can redeem multiple Nitros to keep them active for a longer duration. In this article, we explain everything you need to know about the Discord Orbs.

Discord Orbs are essentially a reward, which you get upon completing quests that have Orbs marked as a reward. Once rewarded, you can use these Orbs to obtain certain items from the Discord Shop. Currently, it is only available on desktops, either via the app or the web. Here’s everything you need to know:

How To Earn Orbs in Discord

Here’s how you can earn Orbs in Discord:

Click on the Compass button on the left sidebar below the servers.
Select the Quests option from the left pane and select a quest from the listing.
Once the quest is complete, click on Claim Reward to receive the Orbs.
Complete more quests to earn more Orbs.

How To Use Orbs To Buy Nitro Credits, Profile Badge, and Custom Nameplate

Once you collect enough Orbs, you can use them to earn certain perks in Discord, including Nitro and nameplates. Here’s how to use Orbs to buy them:

Click on the Direct Message option from the left sidebar.

Select the Shop option from the left pane.

Next, scroll down until you see the section called “Discord Orbs Exclusives.”

Every item that can be redeemed using Orbs will be listed here. This includes Nitro credits, profile badges, nameplates, and bundles, among other things.

Next, click on any exclusive item and select “Claim for X Orbs.”

If you choose Nitro Credits, it will activate Nitro for three days. If you selected profile badges, you will get the option to create a custom Orb-based profile badge. The same is also true for the nameplate and other items that can be redeemed using Orbs. Any item you redeem will be added to your account immediately.

Will the Discord Orbs Expire if They Are Unused?

No, the Discord Orbs will not expire. You can collect and keep them as long as you create profile badges and nameplates.
