In V Rising, there are some resources that you are going to need a lot of from when you unlock them till the end of the game. The Reinforced Plank is one such useful resource. This is the next tier of the Planks, and you unlock its recipe mid-game. Many equipment and structures, starting from mid-game, need lots of Reinforced Planks.
To help you gather some, here’s a guide on how you can get Reinforced Planks in V Rising.

How to Craft Reinforced Planks in V Rising
Firstly, you have to defeat the level 44 V Blood Carrier known as Vincent the Frostbringer. He roams around in the southern section of Dunley Farmlands. Moreover, Vincent is a difficult challenge when it comes to bosses. That is because you must fight him with the last set of weapons that you unlock early in the game. Defeating Tristan is what unlocks most of the mid-game stuff.
Vincent is always accompanied by two random militia units. Take them out first before engaging Vincent. Bring mostly ranged spells, and you can easily win this battle. Once you bring Vincent’s HP down to zero, absorb his V Blood to unlock new stuff, which includes Reinforced Planks.
Once you unlock the recipe, come back to your base and use the Sawmill to craft the items. Here’s what you are going to need if you wish to craft one Reinforced Plank:
- 4x Iron (3 if you have the Matching Floor bonus)
- 4x Plank (3 if you have the Matching Floor bonus)
We recommend getting the Matching Floor bonus before you start crafting the planks. That way, you are going to use many fewer items to make the Reinforced Planks.
Other Ways to Get Reinforced Planks in V Rising
If you are waiting for your Reinforced Planks to craft, you can visit these major areas and break open boxes or chests. When broken, they have a chance to drop Reinforced Planks. Here are the locations:
- Bastion of Dunley
- Sacred Silver Mine
- Brighthaven Docks
Finally, you can visit the Rural Merchant to see if he is selling Reinforced Planks for 10 Silver each.
