Here’s how you can get your hands on some Silk and dress appropriately as you fight the bosses in Black Myth: Wukong.
Black Myth: Wukong features many rare and powerful resources that can assist you in your journey. Silk is one such crafting ingredient. It allows players to create some some formidable armor in the earlier chapters of the game.
Silk seems to be a rare commodity when you first start out in the game. However, from Chapter 2 onwards, you will be able to source silk in many different ways.
Where to find Silk in Black Myth: Wukong
You can acquire silk by fighting powerful enemies who have a chance of dropping this valuable item when you defeat them. One such boss you can take on is Elder Jinchi in Chapter 1. He can be found in the secret Ancient Guanyin Temple. The Second Prince of Flowing Sands boss, one of the first enemies you will face in Chapter 2, can also drop silk. Additionally, you can find lesser Yaoguai around the game’s world and beat them to have a shot at acquiring Silk.
From Chapter 2 onwards, you can also purchase Silk at one of the Keeper’s Shrines in exchange for Will. Silk, much like other ingredients, will become a lot more abundant as you move further ahead in the game.
Silk is classified as a General Armor Material in Black Myth: Wukong. Once you have silk in your inventory, you can use it to craft powerful armor pieces like the Ebongold Silk Robe. This Rare-tier armor, when paired with its set, provides players with a buff for the Cloud Step Spell.
Now that you know all about acquiring silk, you can dress in style for your next boss fight and also get significant buffs.
