Silver is scarce in Brighter Shores. But fear not because there are several ways to get Silver and we will teach you all that we know.
Trying to get Silver in Brighter Shores can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. The game has two currencies, with Silver being one of them. The other currency is Copper, which you can earn or loot regularly. Silver, however, is represented by a different icon and is much rarer.
For most of the game, you can focus on earning Copper, as the currency system in Brighter Shores is similar to real-life currencies: Copper eventually adds up to become Silver. When you reach 1,000 Copper, it automatically converts to one Silver coin in your pouch.
However, some items require large amounts of Silver, so this method may not be feasible if you want to get rich quickly. For those seeking a faster way, we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves.
Get Silver Using These Tricky Methods
1. Fishing Your Way Into Wealth
One of the quickest ways to earn Silver is through hard and honest work. Rather than fishing mindlessly, focus on specific fish that yield more Silver. Head to Eel Street Bridge and/or Wilhope Crossing, where you have a high chance of catching eels and pufferfish.
If you only have a fishing spear, that works too. Just ensure your inventory isn’t near full by selling items for extra money. Once ready, fish for eels and pufferfish, and sell your catch to the fishmonger located south of Eel Street Bridge. Keep leveling up and upgrade your gear to earn even more Silver.
2. Cook Delicious Food and Sell It
Use raw ingredients to cook food, some of which can be obtained from a vendor named Kevin. Selling cooked food can be very profitable. For instance, you can buy bacon and eggs from Kevin, cook food with these ingredients, and sell it to the Chef.
Another way to earn quick Silver through cooking is by completing bounties. Make and sell food that the game requests and you’ll be rewarded with valuable Silver.
3. Exploring and Fighting
Being a Guard in Brighter Shores is risky, as you risk your health to protect others. However, one upside of this job is the ability to loot enemies for Silver. Since Silver is rare, you may often find Copper instead, but even that will add to your Silver income over time.
Exploring, on the other hand, can be somewhat safer but not without environmental risks. Just explore and open the chests and trunks you come across. Although Silver is rarely found, Copper is common and helpful. Additionally, you can obtain items to sell to the Quartermaster, eventually increasing your Silver stash.
These are the simplest methods we’ve found to help you earn the rarer currency in this new MMORPG. Getting rich isn’t easy here, but you’ve got this!
