As mentioned earlier, the best way to get the Bod Shotgun in the game is to farm a specific enemy called Axemaul. To encounter the enemy for the Shotgun, head to the Abandoned Auger Mine at The Toil of Spoiling Vis, in the Carcadia District of Dominion City.
However, you need to finish the Shadow of the Mountain main story mission in Borderlands 4 to unlock and access these abandoned mines. Additionally, refer to the image above to get an idea of the exact location.
Once you arrive at the mine, navigate to its very end to find the giant Mangler-looking enemy, Axemaul. The enemy is a tough force due to an extra armor health bar, which you need to tackle with the Corrosive and Incendiary damage, respectively. Additionally, try to aim and land critical hits on the head of Axemaul, which will help you eliminate him easily.
Once you defeat the enemy, look for the Shotgun in his drops.
