Unlocking the Chef Hat in PEAK requires acquiring a certain badge first. Follow this guide to learn how to do it without any hassles.
If you are bored with the regular gameplay of PEAK and are looking for something fun to try, we suggest unlocking the Chef Hat. While getting this cosmetic upgrade will certainly pose a fun challenge, it will be worth it at the end. There are multiple optional achievements in the game. This includes the Cooking Badge. Once you manage to get this as a reward, you will get the Chef Hat.
PEAK: Unlocking the Chef Hat
As PEAK does not feature the concept of trophies and achievements, the same idea has been fulfilled by the introduction of badges or accolades. For every badge that you acquire in the game, you get one cosmetic upgrade as a reward. So if you manage to get the Cooking Badge, you will unlock the Chef Hat as a reward.
The objective to unlock this badge is simple: you need to cook 20 food items. While you might not realize this at first, this is one achievement that will most likely get unlocked sooner or later if you play the entire game. Cooking in PEAK is extremely simple. You just need a food item and a fire source to cook it, like a campfire. When you have both things ready, approach the campfire and press and hold the E button on your keyboard with the food item in your hand. Wait for a few seconds, and the food will be ready.
When you manage to do so 20 times, you will see a notification on the screen indicating that you have unlocked the Cooking Badge. As a reward, you will get the Chef Hat as well. To equip it, you need to head to the airport and check your passport. And now, you can finally flaunt your newly unlocked cosmetic upgrade in front of your friends.
