Just like any other cosmetic upgrade from PEAK, to get the eyepatch, you first need to unlock a certain badge. Even though the eyepatch does not provide any additional abilities or skills, it is still a cool way to flaunt your newly unlocked badge. In this article, we will take a look at how to unlock the Plunderer Badge in PEAK, which, in turn, will earn you the eyepatch as well.
Unlocking Eyepatch in PEAK
The eyepatch from PEAK is a cosmetic item that you can only get once you have successfully unlocked the Plunderer Badge. This is one of the 52 available badges in the game that serves as a trophy or achievement in PEAK. Once you manage to get your hands on this badge, the eyepatch will automatically be available in your inventory as a wearable that you can equip as a costume.
The objective to earn the Plunderer Badge is simple. You need to open 15 luggage boxes in total during a single gameplay session. The tricky part is that there is no fixed spawn location for these luggage boxes. Fortunately, this badge is not exclusive to any one biome. You can complete this accomplishment in any biome of your choice. You will need to explore the map a little and look for and open 15 luggage boxes in total. This can be made a lot simpler if you are playing with friends.

One by one, they can look for luggage and call you when they spot it. Moreover, it will not be a complete waste of time, as you will get some important items for the rest of the mission too. Luggage typically includes healing items, sunscreen, etc. Once you have managed to open 15 of these luggage packs, you will get a pop-up on the screen notifying you of your newly acquired Plunderer Badge. As a reward, the eyepatch will be added to your inventory as well.
