Here’s our guide on how to easily acquire the Huffing and Puffing Achievement from the Farmlife side mission in Split Fiction.
The Huffing and Puffing Achievement has to be one of the funniest trophies to acquire in this game. Think about it. You get to play as a pig and use your rainbow-powered fart and dash straight towards a hut to break it.
In the second chapter of Split Fiction, Farmlife, the player gets to collect multiple trophies to aid them in their quest for 100% completion. One of these trophies is the Huffing and Puffing Achievement. Let us Huff and Puff our way towards achieving this simple achievement.
Step 1 – Farmlife
Defeat Mr. Hammertime, and after the cutscene, make your way up across the flight of stairs and grapple your way across the gate in front of you. On the other side rests an orbiting portal. Both of you need to interact with it and teleport straight to the Side Mission, Farmlife.
Once inside, both of you will have transformed into pigs. Mio will have the ability to propel herself forward with her magic farts, whereas Zoe will have the ability to stretch her body. Use Mio to look for the purple apple and Zoe to look for the green apple. These will be found in the area right before the green door.
Once you find the apples, approach the green door and feed the door the apple. Pleased with your contribution, the door will let you both through.
Step 2 – Look for the Apples
Once outside the barn, run forward along the path. Once you cross the barn on the way, you both need to split up. Use Mio to continue running along the path. To the left of the barn from where you are facing, you will see three small towers of hay. Approach the smallest hay tower and look for a bubble. Enter the bubble to be launched into the air, and make your way to the top of the tower. Jump across the other two towers to reach the purple apple.
Now Zoe takes a left in front of the barn on the way and moves away from the path. You will see one big red tower, with a significantly smaller tower attached to it. Approach a bubble floating around and hop your way on top of the smaller tower. Now use your spring ability to hop onto the bigger tower and acquire the green apple. Bring the apples to the green door of the second barn. The green door will open as soon as you give it the apples.
Step 3 – Third Barn
Make your way ahead, hopping across the hay in your path. When you reach up, you will see a shovel lodged into the wall. Use your abilities to hop onto it, which will further propel you up to the next floor. Take a right from there and exit the barn.
For the next set of apples, after exiting the barn, pass through the bridge. Cross the pool of mud and follow the mud trail to your left. There will be an upward path between some haystacks. Proceed up and approach the seesaw made of shovels.
Use Mio to stand on the bigger shovel and Zoe to stand on the smaller one. Use Zoe’s ability to bounce high on her side of the shovel. Once she lands down, Mio will get launched in the air. Use her booster ability and fly to the purple apple on top of the hay tower.
For the next apple, run beside the huge barn to the other side of the farm. There will be a small ledge beside the huge basket of apples. Use Mio’s rainbow boost to jump off the ledge onto the shovel, and use it to jump over the tower.
Turn left and jump on top of the basket of apples. This will lower the height of the apples. Use Zoe to jump on the lowered basket of apples with her power-up. Once Mio jumps out of the basket, the basket goes higher; jump on the tower and claim the green apple.
Step 4 – Huffing and Puffing Achievement
Once the door opens, run straight. You will see a brick house with a pig inside. The pig states that the house is indestructible. Simply use Mio and go to the back of the house. There is a green target symbol on the wall of the house. Use Mio and her rainbow boost to dash towards the target. The house collapses, and you get the Huffing and Puffing Achievement.
