Inside, the shovel is displayed on a table across from the counter, but it won’t be available for purchase right away.
How To Unlock The Shortcake Shovel
To unlock the ability to purchase the shovel, you need to:
- Talk to Tom, the baker inside the shop.
- Complete five of his bakery quests.
- Once done, the shovel becomes available for $45,000.
Each time you speak to Tom, he’ll assign a random quest. These can range from digging up ingredients to modified items and are repeatable. After completing five total, you can buy the shovel right away.

- Secret Ingredient: Dig 20 items and five modified items.
- Cow Tipper: Dig up three cows (Legendary).
