Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is an open-world RPG with 17 mounts to unlock and ride across its vast map. These range from the classic Black Horse to the sleek Napdragon Cruiser. Among the game’s range of mounts, the Tortortoise stands out as a hilarious choice.
Although it might not offer the fastest ride, the Tortortoise is still zippier than you might expect. There is also certain comedic value in riding a tortoise across the isles and into battle. Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time – How To Unlock the Tortortoise Mount
You can obtain the Tortortoise Saddle as a drop by defeating a Tortortoise enemy. Every time you defeat a Tortortoise in battle, there is a small chance that it will drop a chest containing the Tortortoise Saddle. You can find Tortortoises in Ginormosia, on or near beaches.
A common location to encounter a large creep of Tortortoises is the beach to the east of the Capital of Mysteria, as indicated on the map. You can clear the entire beach of Tortortoises to improve your chances of getting a Tortortoise Saddle drop. Bring some Buddies along to help you eliminate the enemies faster. If you don’t get the saddle after defeating all the mobs, you can pass time to make them respawn.
The Tortortoise mount is not to be confused with the Turtle mount. The Turtle is white with a blue shell, whereas the Tortortoise is green with a brown shell. To unlock the Turtle mount, you will have to head to the Tropica Isles and buy the Turtle Saddle from the Material Shop for 80,000 Dosh.
How To Equip the Tortortoise Mount
Open the Weird Pad (Escape on PC) and head to the second page. There, choose the “Mount” option, listed third on the first row. Select the Tortortoise and close the Weird Pad. Your character will be sitting atop a Tortortoise, ready to gallop across the map.
