How To Obtain Void Egg in Stardew Valley
There are many methods you can use to acquire this egg. The first and easiest way is to buy it from Krobus’ shop for 5,000g. Naturally, some players might be hesitant to pay this heavy price. Don’t worry, there are many more ways to get this item.
Secondly, Shane might present this item to you as a gift, only if you are married to him (and on rainy days). This is also a random chance. Next up, we have another random encounter. You do not need to actively do something for this encounter.
As long as you have a big or deluxe coop, which is yet to become full, this encounter can happen. A witch will fly over the coop and leave a Void Egg for you. Lastly, we have the easiest method, which can net you multiple eggs without you doing anything.
If you place 9-10 Void Salmon in the Fishing Pond, there is a chance that they produce a Void Egg daily. This will be a more consistent method, as you have a stellar chance to obtain this item daily.
Still, there is no surefire method of getting this item, other than buying it outright.

What To Do With the Void Egg in Stardew Valley
There are multiple uses for this rare resource. Firstly, you can use it to complete the Home Cook’s bundle. Although this bundle can be completed with ten eggs of any type, not specifically this one.
Next, and the most useful use is to hatch a Void Chicken out of this egg. You can do this by placing it in a Big or Deluxe coop’s incubator. This is the ONLY method of obtaining a Void Chicken, making Void Eggs very valuable.
Lastly, you can use it to obtain Void Mayonnaise. Place the egg within the Mayonnaise Machine and you will acquire the Mayonnaise after three hours.
