The Warped mutation was first seen in Grow a Garden during the Admin Abuse War between Jandel and Steal a Brainrot creator SpyderSammy. Like other mutations in the game, your crops not only look different if they have it, but they also get a modifier that increases their value. While attendees of the Admin Abuse event on Saturday, August 23, 2025, probably got the Warped mutation, you can still get the limited mutation in Grow a Garden.
This guide will explain how you can still obtain the Warped mutation on your crops.

How To Get the Warped Mutation
Grow a Garden players can get the Warped mutation on the crops from the Apple Gazelle pet or during the Brainrot Stampede admin event. However, the Brainrot Stampede event is not only admin-exclusive but also a special weather event made for the Grow a Garden vs Steal a Brainrot Admin Abuse War. So it is less likely to reappear during upcoming admin abuse events.
The Apple Gazelle pet, therefore, is one of the only ways you can get the Warped mutation. If you have the pet active in your garden, harvesting any fruit that has “apple” in its name (Sugar Apple, Maple Apple, etc) has a 2-4% chance to apply the Warped Mutation on a random crop. You can use pets such as the T-Rex and Spinosaurus to spread the mutation with their traits as well.
How To Get an Apple Gazelle
As of the current patch, you can no longer obtain Apple Gazelle. It is a limited-time admin-spawned pet given to players who attended the Grow a Garden vs Steal a Brainrot Admin Abuse War event on August 23. Warped Mutation Affects: Crop Value Modifier
The Warped mutation gives crops a x75 value modifier, making it one of the better crop mutations in Grow a Garden. It also alters the crop’s appearance, with purple particles revolving around it.
