Wool thread is a very important resource needed to make armor. Here’s how you can get wool thread in V Rising.

V Rising is a survival hack-and-slash game in which you play as a vampire who has woken up after a deep slumber. After you wake up, you must collect various resources to build your castle, weapons, and armor.
As you progress through the game, you must also defeat unique bosses that either unlock new transformations or workbenches when defeated. The wool thread is one such item that you require in high quantities to make most late-game armor.

Obtaining Wool Thread in V Rising

The best way to collect wool thread is by roaming around Dunley Farmlands and looting the locals around the area. You can mostly find wool thread from chests or pieces of furniture that you can loot inside civilian buildings. Killing Beatrice the Tailor boss is a great way to farm for wool threads. She is on the eastern side of Dunley and simply runs around alerting guards. Moreover, she drops the loom crafting recipe.
If you do not wish to spend time searching for wool thread, you can get the crafting recipe for it and make some yourself. However, you must be well prepared because the crafting recipe drops from a rather difficult-to-fight boss. Fortunately, some bosses hate each other, so you can use that to your advantage.
How To Get Wool Thread Crafting Recipe in V Rising

To get the wool thread recipe, you have to defeat Meredith the Bright Archer. She is a level 50 holy archer who can decimate you with a few shots from her bow. She roams around the entrance of the Haunted Iron Mines, which is on the southern side of Dunley Farmlands. Additionally, Kriig the Undead General, a level 44 scythe-wielding undead, roams the deeper parts of the mines as well.
If you are lucky, you can often find both these bosses fighting each other. It is recommended to wait till Meredith’s health is as low as it can get before dealing the finishing blow. After you absorb her V-Blood, you unlock the recipe for wool thread. However, you need to make a loom first to start crafting the wool threads. You can use either 12 Fire Bloom or eight coarse threads to make one wool thread.
