Everything you need to know about the best early-game weapons for Lune in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, the Deminerim, and how to obtain it.
Clair Obscur Expedition 33, much like any other modern RPG, features plenty of hidden secrets and optional quests that you can easily miss while going through the main story. While most of these optional quests usually culminate in a boss fight, others end up rewarding you with unique weapons and outfits. One such optional quest, which you can easily miss in the Flying Waters area, rewards you with one of the best early-game weapons for Lune — the Deminerim.
While the weapon’s raw stats aren’t anything special, it makes up for that with its elemental affinity as well as Luck scaling. Thankfully, if you haven’t progressed past Act 1 of the game, you can easily obtain this weapon by revisiting Flying Waters.

Where To Find Deminerim in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
Deminerim is obtained as part of an optional quest involving the NPC, Demineur. You can find Demineur right after leaving the Noco’s Hut checkpoint. As you progress through the main story path after reuniting with Maelle, you will eventually reach an open area filled with Nevrons.
Once you clear the area of all hostiles, you will find a small cave-like structure on the right, which leads you to a hidden location on the map. Heading inside the cave, you will find Demineur, whom you can interact with. Furthermore, you can also choose to attack Demineur. However, doing so will result in you missing out on the NPC’s quest and also the Deminerim weapon.
After talking to Demineur, he will ask you to procure an Intact Mine for him. However, the NPC doesn’t provide you with an exact location of where to find said Mine. Thankfully, finding the Intact Mine is quite easy. Near Demineur, you will find a set of platforms made of stone. You essentially need to climb these platforms and make your way to the extreme end of the area.
We recommend using Maelle or Gustav for the platforming section. While you can jump across platforms using Lune, her lack of a sprint animation can often result in missing a jump.
Once you reach the end of the area, you will find the Intact Mine on the ground. Simply pick the Mine up and take it to Demineur. Talk to Demineur and hand over the Mine to him. With that, you will conclude Demineur’s quest and also receive the Deminerim.
Deminerim Stats and Scaling
Deminerim is a Level 3 weapon with a base damage of 82. While the base damage of the Deminerim isn’t particularly impressive, what sets it apart from other early-game weapons is its Lightning element. Apart from physical damage, Deminerim also deals Lightning damage, which comes in incredibly handy with some of the skills you get to unlock later for Lune.
Furthermore, Deminerim scales with both Agility and Luck. By upgrading the weapon to Level 10 and higher, you can essentially make it an incredibly potent choice for Luck-based builds.
