Marvel Rivals just released Season 1 on January 9th, 2025. The update brought new characters and game modes. The developers keep adding new content to the game, whether it’s cosmetic or something else. Marvel Rivals got an update on January 23, 2025, that introduced players to a new kind of TDM, “Clash of Dancing Lions.” It feels like playing Rocket League but with Marvel heroes. There is a lot to cover about this game mode, such as how to play the game and what its features are.
So, with no further ado, we are going to learn everything about this new game mode that came with the celebration of the Lunar New Year in Marvel Rivals.
What Is Clash of Dancing Lions?
If you’ve ever played Rocket League, you’ll understand the game’s mechanics very easily. For those who are not familiar, this game mode is essentially a soccer-like team deathmatch. Each team has to score goals in a 3v3 match to win. This is a limited-time game mode that came with the Spring Festival event. With each match, you can earn event-specific money to redeem them for some limited-time rewards. However, there are some rules and different mechanics to play the game mode efficiently.
How To Play Clash of Dancing Lions Game Mode?
There are only three heroes available for this game mode: Iron Fist, Black Widow, and Star-Lord. Use left click to shoot the ball and right click to hurl the ball. Each character has some special ability that can help the team in achieving victory. The first team to reach 10 points wins the game. The game is played on the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda: World Arena. You don’t have to worry about respawns, as there are no KOs in the game mode. Additionally, you get a chance to equip the Lunar New Year costumes of the available characters. Play Clash of Dancing Lions and bring home the victory in Marvel Rivals.
