Everything you need to know about Ironeye in Elden Ring Nightreign, including the Nightfarer’s stats, active abilities, and how to play it.

Ironeye is arguably one of the most powerful Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign, despite being a ranged class. While Ironeye lacks the sheer DPS of classes like Raider, Wylder, and Duchess, he makes up for it with his ability to easily stack elemental affinity on enemies, while also staying far out of harm’s reach. Furthermore, it’s one of the best support classes in the game and can also hold its own in solo Expeditions. Essentially, Ironeye is an all-rounder when it comes to Nightreign’s moment-to-moment gameplay. Having an Ironeye in your team is a great way to guarantee victory against the Nightlords, granted you know how to properly use his abilities.
While Ironeye might be able to dish out impressive elemental damage from a distance, he’s one of the squishiest Nightfarers in the game. However, with proper knowledge of the character’s skillset, you can easily overcome most of its shortcomings. Here’s everything you need to know about Ironeye in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Overview of Ironeye in Elden Ring Nightreign

Ironeye, as of the current version of the Elden Ring Nightreign, is easily the most overpowered Nightfarer in the game. This is partly due to the character’s ability to dish out while staying at range, but also due to his incredibly good stat distribution. Ironeye is essentially a Dexterity-focused character with a good amount of Endurance, making him good at quickly sniping enemies from afar. Furthermore, unlike in the original Elden Ring, Bows in Nightreign are incredibly powerful. Even the Shortbow is capable of decimating Nightlords without breaking a sweat. Furthermore, due to the character’s decent Arcane-scaling, Ironeye is also incredibly well-suited for affinity-based attacks.
With an elemental Bow, you can basically keep piling stacks of elemental damage, while your allies divert the attention of the boss away from you. In addition to that, Ironeye has access to some incredibly powerful abilities, Marking and Single Shot. Couple that with the fact that the character can easily revive allies from a distance, and it makes Ironeye an essential tool for almost every Expedition. You can even play three Ironeyes for an Expedition, and basically melt bosses before they can even perform their most powerful combos.

Tips To Master Ironeye in Elden Ring Nightreign

Here are some tips on how to properly use Ironeye during Expeditions:
- Playing Ironeye might seem simple at first, but there’s still a bit of nuance to it. Firstly, make sure you always apply the Mark before starting to attack enemies. With Elemental Bows, you can cause the Mark to explode, which can deal a ton of damage (akin to a Bleed proc). Additionally, Marking allows not only Ironeye, but also other allies as well, to deal additional damage.
- Always remember that Marking not only allows you to wound enemies, but also avoids almost all unblockable attacks. Ironeye is a very squishy character; as such, your priority should be to stay mostly at medium distance from enemies. Marking lets you dodge through all incoming attacks, while also reapplying the wound.
- Ironeye’s Ultimate Art gauge doesn’t recharge nearly as fast as other Nightfarers. While you can improve the recharge time a bit with Relics, it’s not going to make a major difference. As such, you want to save your Ultimate Art for situations like reviving allies or getting out of a boss’s unblockable attack.
- The best passives to equip on Ironeye are – Increased ranged damage, Increased affinity damage, Less likely to be targeted by enemies, and Increased attack on two-handed weapons.
