Competitive battling is finally here! Here’s how you can jump into Ranked Matches and find out who is the strongest in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
Trainers are competing fiercely to climb the ranked ladder in Pokemon TCG Pocket since the introduction of Ranked Matches into the digital card game. These matches have seen skill-based match-making, where players are put against others of a similar rank.
Players then engage in a battle of wits, tactics, and, of course, luck. Here is how you can take part in these challenging player vs player battles.
How To Play Ranked Matches in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Ranked Matches were introduced in the latest update to the game, a day after the release of the Shining Revelry Booster Pack. Anyone can take part in this race to climb up to the top of the ranked ladder.
Taking part in these matches is a simple process:
- Firstly, click on the fourth tab on your home page, which is the battle menu.
- You will see Versus and Solo options. Click on the Versus button here.
- Here, you will be given the option to take part in Ranked Matches.
Although, you should note that you must be at least level three to unlock these ranked battles.
What To Do Before Taking Part in Ranked Matches in Pokemon TCG Pocket
You will want to use competitive decks in these matches. The outcome of every match will determine your overall ranking at the end of the season. Furthermore, you should expect to see the highest-level decks, as everyone is looking to win.
Consider buffing your existing decks or using something else entirely if you are unsure about your deck’s strength. Some of the strongest decks in the current meta involve Giratina Ex and Arceus Ex. There are other decks you can also use for great results as well.
