To commemorate the final season of the popular series, Netflix officially created the Squid Game: The Final Games experience on Roblox. The game was released earlier this month, but got the S3 Hide & Seek Update on June 27, 2025, with the release of the final season.
This guide will walk you through the steps you need to play the official Squid Game: The Final Games on Roblox. We will be breaking down all the individual games you must play to win, along with an explanation of the in-game mechanics to help you become a master.
Squid Game: The Final Games Roblox Guide
Netflix added the Hide and Seek game to Squid Game: The Final Games Roblox experience, giving players a total of four rounds before they can win. The game follows the pattern of the TV show and puts players in the position of one of the participants. There are currently four games in the Roblox experience inspired by the Netflix show. A random one will be selected from the list below after you start a match:
- Red Light, Green Light.
- Mingle Game
- Rock Paper Scissors
- Hide and Seek

To win the full amount of money, you have to beat four rounds. One round of each game. After each round, all players vote to either bail out with a nominal amount of cash or keep playing. Do note that dying in-game drastically decreases your chances of winning cash. Cash is the main in-game currency used to buy cosmetics and abilities.
Here is a list of abilities you can buy from the shop and their price.
Ability | Uses | Cost |
---|---|---|
Dash | You can use it to dash five times. | 450 Million |
Play Dead | Play Dead with this for 10 seconds. It can be used five times. | 180 Million |
Push | Push another player with this. You get five pushes per purchase. | 90 Million |
Green Light | Mimic the sound ‘Green Light’ to trick players. It can be used five times. | 30 Million |
Red Light | Say ‘Red Light’ five times. | 20 Million |
Before talking about each game, let us explore the basics.

How To Start a Game

Follow these steps to start a game.
- Launch Squid Game: The Final Games on Roblox.
- You will spawn in a room resembling the Dormitory from the show. This is the in-game lobby.
- To start a game, walk and stand inside the blue rectangle in the photo above.
- You will see a counter on top of the big door showcasing the number of players in the rectangle and a timer. If there are at least 16 players in the rectangle when the timer reaches 0, a game will start. Otherwise, it will reset and start counting down again.
When you start the game, one of the four will be selected randomly. After the round ends, you vote. If most players in the game vote to stop playing, then the game ends. Otherwise, the next round starts with one of the remaining games.
All Rounds in Squid Game: The Final Games Explored
Red Light, Green Light

- Similar to what the show depicts as the first game in the first season.
- Your objective is to reach the other side before the timer runs out.
- Players may only move when the giant robot doll, Young-hee, has given them the green light. She will have her back turned and sing the iconic song from the show.
- When she is facing you, it’s Red Light. If you move during this phase, you will get eliminated.
Mingle Game

- Players spawn on a spinning platform at the center of a circular room full of doors.
- After a countdown, the platform will stop spinning, and a number will appear.
- You have to form groups of players of that specified number and enter one of the rooms.
- There is a timer counting you down, and if you fail to enter a viable room, you die.
- If you are in a room that has the incorrect number of players, everyone in the room dies.
- There can be multiple rounds in this game, depending on the number of participants.
Rock Paper Scissors

- This is a two-handed version of the popular game.
- Rock beats scissors, scissors beat paper, and paper beats rock.
- Players have to choose one of the three options for each hand.
- You then reveal your two choices to the other player.
- Now, you have to take one hand back before the timer ends.
- If there is a tie, you replay.
- If you lose, you get eliminated.
- If you win, you play another player. Or the game progresses to the next round, depending on the number of players.
Hide and Seek

- This is the latest addition to Squid Game: The Final Games Roblox experience and is based on the game of the same name from Season 3.
- Players are divided into two teams: Hiders and Seekers.
- Hiders have to either escape or stay alive in a maze. Seekers have to kill everyone they can find.
- Hiders get a key with a unique symbol that can open doors that have the same symbol in the maze.
- Seekers get a knife and have to kill one hider before a timer runs out. As a seeker, if you fail to kill anyone within the time limit, you get eliminated.
