Aptitude

One of the most important advantages you can have in the Tarus Cup is to raise your umas’ Medium aptitude rank from “A” to “S.” To raise the Medium aptitude to “S” rank, have at least one 3-star Medium Spark from both Legacies (parents). If the spark activates during career inspiration events, the trainee will achieve the “S” rank.

Racetrack Information

Knowing the racetrack of the Tarus Cup allows for a deeper understanding of which skills will work best during the event, granting an edge to teams trained specifically for it.

  • Speed is king:

The race has a long 777m last spurt, which gives racers plenty of time to reach and maintain their top speed. This makes maximizing the Speed stat crucial for gaining an overwhelming advantage over opponents.

  • Rare Stamina skill required:

The stamina recommendations are at a bare minimum level. The actual requirements are 200 points more than the given values. However, these are nearly impossible to attain while trying to max out Speed and Power. Therefore, rely on at least one rare (gold) stamina skill to shore up the stat.

Skills

Having one rare Stamina skill is the most important, followed by Speed skills, with passive skills being the least important. However, speed-increasing passive skills take precedence over normal speed skills, which do not activate in the last spurt. Team Composition

All running styles are viable for the Tarus Cup, providing players with a large selection of characters to choose from. The three veteran umas you field for the event should be using different running styles

If you have the resources to do so, include one debuffer in the team to reduce the performance of opposing runners. You don’t have to worry about training the debuffer well in terms of stats; they only need high Wit to activate as many debuffing skills as possible.

Some of the best characters to train for the event are:

Front Runners

  • Maruzensky
  • Mihono Bourbon
  • Silence Suzuka
  • Daiwa Scarlet
  • Mayano Top Gun
