Defeat Trunks in the ‘Preparing for the World Tournament’ episode to shake off brainwashing in Vegeta’s Wicked Heart.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, the action-fighting RPG by Bandai Namco Entertainment, was released worldwide on October 11, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game contains a massive roster of around 182 characters. Experience the game’s canon storyline uniquely from the perspectives of eight major characters, including Vegeta. These battle episode storylines can be further divided into different branches or pathways called ‘Sparking Episodes’ based on the player’s choices and actions.
In Vegeta’s Saga, players will be brainwashed by Babidi in the Vegeta’s Wicked Heart episode. But do you know you can break from Babidi’s mind control? Yes, the game allows you to do that. But you need to complete a secret objective to unlock Shake Off Brainwashing in Vegeta’s Wicked Heart episode, and here is how to do it.
How to Unlock Shake Off Brainwashing Option for Vegeta?
To get the option for Shake off Brainwashing, you need to complete the ‘Preparing for the World Tournament’ episode without taking much damage. Though the episode seems like just a normal fight, it unlocks a secret Sparking Episode. In the episode, Vegeta fights against Trunks. The alternate objective of the episode is mentioned as “Reduce Trunks’s health without losing too much of your own.” Once you defeat Trunks without taking much damage, Vegeta ends the training fight, and a cutscene will play where both Vegeta and Trunks share a moment in their base form. Hence you unlocked the option to Shake off Brainwashing.
Vegeta’s Number One Spot Sparking Episode
Now during the Vegeta’s Wicked Heart episode, you can choose the option of shaking off Babidi’s brainwashing. Performing this action breaks the canon storyline and unlocks ‘Number One Spot’, one of the Sparking Episodes of Vegeta. In the Sparking Episode timeline, Vegeta never becomes Majin Vegeta. Instead, he breaks the mind-control and defeats Dabura and Babidi. Eventually, Vegeta ends up in a fight with Goku in the World Tournament in the Sparking Episode.
