Sonic is known for its super-powered hedgehogs. With all of them running around at super speed, there were bound to be a few racing games made along the way. Additionally, the newest Sonic racing game just got revealed. Here is everything we know for now.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Closed Beta
SEGA just announced a Closed Network Test for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. Interested players can apply for this beta starting from February 21, 2025. Seats will likely fill out fast, so be on your toes. You will likely have to go to the official SEGA site for the game to apply for the Closed Network.
The trailer showed Sonic and company speeding around several locations familiar to long-time fans of the series. Sign up for the Closed Network test to experience the fun beforehand.
Moreover, this is not the first racing game of the Sonic franchise. Therefore, while waiting, fans could choose to play some older Sonic titles to get into the vibe of this game.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Platforms
The game will be having a multi-platform release. It will release on the PlayStation 4 and 5, along with the Xbox Series X/S. Additionally, it will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
