Yet another ambitious extraction shooter, ARC Raiders is set in a distant future where a “mechanized threat” has taken over. The title comes from Embark Studios, who also developed The Finals, another hit free-to-play title that is still going strong. Currently, ARC Raiders is hosting its second playtest, which you can play right now if you are lucky.
Not everyone will get access to the ARC Raiders playtest, but you could try your luck by requesting for an access key. In this article, we will explain how you can request to take part in the ARC Raiders playtest and play the game right now.

The only way to play ARC Raiders is if you have exclusive access to the currently ongoing playtest. This playtest, termed as the Tech Test 2, runs from April 30, 2025, to May 4, 2025. Since this is not an Open Beta phase, you will have to manually request for a code to take part in the playtest. You will eventually receive one from the developers if you are lucky enough. Unfortunately, there is no confirmed way to get an invite code to play ARC Raiders right now.
How To Request Access for ARC Raiders Tech Test 2 and Play Right Now
There are two ways in which you can request for ARC Raiders playtest access:
- Request access via Steam.
- Request access via the official website.
Here is how you can do it via both methods:

- Open Steam and head to the Store section.
- Search for “ARC Raiders” and hit enter.
- On the store page of the game, you should see a green button which says Request Access. Simply click on this button.
That’s all you need to do here. If you are selected, you will receive an email about the same.
Request Access to ARC Raiders Playtest via the Official Website
Here is how you can request access on the official website of ARC Raiders:
- Head to the ARC Raiders official website.
- Click on Sign up for Tech Test 2.
- Select your desired platform and sign in to your respective account.
- Finally, go through the entire registration process.
Once again, this does not guarantee you a spot in the playtest and you might not be able to play ARC Raiders right now. However, if you are lucky, you will receive an email with further instructions on how to access the game.
