How To Get to Deepscron Hollow in Oblivion Remastered

Firstly, Deepscorn Hollow is situated at the bottom right corner of the map of Cyrodiil. Additionally, the quickest way to reach the location is to start from Leyawiin and walk southeast toward the shore. You must head to the location shown in the image above. There, you can find a hollow tree trunk filled with water. Jump in it and interact with the hidden door just below the water’s surface.
Fortunately, you already get the key to the Deepscorn Hollow hideout when you finish the tutorial. Therefore, you get this entire house for free when you start the game. After you enter the hidden door, swim a bit to the front and go up the stairs to enter the house. Moreover, right after you come up from the water, your quest updates to read a certain journal. Additionally, Greywyn’s Journal is on a table right by the entrance.
Upgrading the Deepscorn Hollow in Oblivion Remastered

The journal has a bit of lore, which you can read for fun. However, the main purpose of reading the journal is to mark the person from whom you can purchase all the Deepscorn Hollow upgrades. The person you will be looking for is Rowley Eardwulf, who is at the Wawnet Inn just outside the Imperial City. The inn is at the end of the western bridge of the Imperial City.
In the inn, take the stairs up on the left side of the innkeeper. You can find Rowley Eardwulf sitting on the stairs. Interact with him and select Bartering to purchase the following items. Do note that the upgrades are very pricey, so we recommend saving at least 26,000 septims if you wish to obtain all the upgrades for Deepscorn Hollow.
- Deepscorn Bedroom Area
- Deepscorn Cattle Cell
- Deepscorn Dark Minion
- Deepscorn Dining Area
- Deepscorn Garden Receipt
- Deepscorn Storage Area
- Deepscorn Study Area
- Ichor of Sithis
After you buy the following upgrades, return to Deepscorn Hollow to enjoy all the benefits.
Deepscorn Hollow Rooms in Oblivion Remastered

As we mentioned before, Deepscorn Hollow is a great place if you are playing as an evil character with a high Infamy stat. You can get Infamy by committing crimes in Oblivion Remastered. Additionally, here are all the Deepscorn Hollow rooms and the purposes they serve:
- Bedroom Area: You have a coffin that you can sleep in to pass the time. Additionally, there is a Nirnroot that respawns every three days on a table in the room.
- Cattle Cell: You get your very own NPC that you can feed on, that is, if you choose to remain and play as a vampire.
- Dining Area: This is where your Dark Minion roams. You can send him off to kill people and get back with loot while also increasing your Infamy level. However, there is also a 25% chance that he fails and does not bring back anything.
- Garden of Venomgrowth: A small garden that grows many plants required to make potent poisons. Moreover, the plants respawn in due time.
- Storage Area: This room is filled with chests in which you can store your loot for safekeeping.
- Library Area: There are many books that you can read to increase your skills or enjoy lore tied to Deepscorn Hollow.
- Font of Renewal: This is an obelisk that sits in the middle of a room submerged in water. You can use it to remove vampirism. However, you cannot turn into a vampire again.
- Shrine of Sithis: A statue of Sithis lies in the basement that can grant you blessings based on your Infamy level. You need to use the Ichor of Sithis in the Ichor Basin to activate the shrine and get the following buffs based on your Infamy level:
- Call of Sithis (1-20): Restore All Attributes, Restore Health, Cure Disease, and Fortify Health. (Duration: 900 Seconds)
- Scream of Sithis (21-50): Restore All Attributes, Restore Health, Cure Disease, Fortify Health, Fortify Agility, and Fortify Sneak. (Duration: 900 Seconds)
- Lament of Sithis (51-90): Restore All Attributes, Restore Health, Cure Disease, Fortify Health, Fortify Agility, and Fortify Sneak. (Duration: 1000 Seconds)
- Death Knell of Sithis (90+): Restore All Attributes, Restore Health, Cure Disease, Fortify Health, Fortify Agility, Fortify Sneak, and Chameleon 50%. (Duration: 1200 Seconds)
Additionally, the Shrine of Sithis room has the Crimson Eviscerator, a unique dagger with great enchantments. Finally, we highly recommend using Deepscorn Hollow as your main base if you are playing as an evil character in Oblivion Remastered.
