Follow this guide to unlock Vegata’s Sparking Episodes Parental Bond and Number One Spot, in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, released October 1, 2024, features a whopping playable roster of around 182 characters from the franchise, including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Frieza. The story mode of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is called Episode Battle mode. It lets players re-live the iconic moments of the canon storyline with eight major characters, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Jiren, Future Trunks, Goku Black, and Frieza.
Within the Episode Battles, you can also unlock and play Sparking Episodes. The Canon storyline can be split into different branches based on the player’s choices and actions. There are multiple Sparking Episodes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and Vegeta holds two.

How to Unlock Parental Bond – Vegeta’s Sparking Episode
Vegeta’s first Sparking Episode Parental Bond can be unlocked by defeating Android 18 during the Wind-Up Doll mission. During the Cell Saga in Chapter 2, instead of surviving the fight with Android 18, defeat her as soon as possible. In addition, complete another objective of defeating Super Trunks quickly during the “Vegeta and Trunks” mission. This unlocks the alternative storyline of Vegeta’s Saga with the Parental Bond sparking episode.
How to Unlock Number One Spot – Vegeta’s Sparking Episode
The second Sparking Episode of Vegeta can be unlocked in the “Vegeta’s Wicked Heart” mission in Chapter 3. During the mission, Babidi will mind-control Vegeta. You can get over Babidi ‘s mind control if you’ve already defeated Trunks without taking much damage in the Preparing for the World Tournament episode. This lets you choose Shake Off Brainwashing during “Vegeta’s Wicked Heart,” and unlock the alternative branch path of Vegeta’s Saga with the Number One Spot Sparking Episode.
