Inspire Allies And Fill Up Chain Meter

Before you can perform Battle Art Chains, you first need to fill up the Chain Meter of your ally officer or companion. You can do this by doing the following actions:

• Parrying Enemy Attacks
• Dodging Attacks
• Defeating Enemy Officers
• Pulling Off Combos on Enemies

You can view the Chain Meter above your companion’s head. Alternatively, you can see all of the Chain Meters by accessing the Battlefield Information. 

Watch Out for a Blue Line

Once their Chain Meter is sufficient enough, a blue line should show up linking you to them. You will also see two blue octagons on top of your companion’s head. This is the indication that they are ready to perform a Battle Art Chain with you in Dynasty Warriors Origins.

Perform Battle Art Chains 

Once you cast a Battle Art, your nearby ally with a filled-up Chain Meter should do a follow-up attack immediately after you. This synchronized action delivers a one-two punch that can be very useful if you need extra firepower against swarms of enemies or powerful opponent officers.
