Rauru wants to push north and aims for the temple in Tanagar Canyon. The name of the battle gives you the direction you need to go. Spawn in and head north, cutting through the monsters standing in your way. Pass through the courtyard, and take the stairs leading below into the open field. Defeat the monsters and Moblin here.
Continue down this path, and you’ll see a Hylian Captain fighting another Moblin. There are a ton of Moblins along this path, and we recommend fighting and beating them all to get materials. As you walk down the path further, clearing out monsters, you’ll then initiate a cutscene. A Boss Bokoblin will charge into the area, roaring and blasting its horn. Defeat this monster to open the path ahead.
Cut through the gate and the monsters ahead of it to continue towards the temple. As you head halfway up north, you’ll reach an outpost with a Hinox. Defeat the Hinox, and you’re then on the final stretch of the map. Walk through this final stretch and you’ll end up in another outpost with a Blue Moblin. Defeat this monster, too, and it’s a straight dash for the end.
As you reach the end, you’ll be cut off by Lynel. Lynel is the final boss of this area, and is pretty simple. All you have to do is create distance whenever he roars, because that’s a signal for an explosion. Watch out for this explosion as it deals a ton of damage. You’ll then get a moment to attack the boss right after, and can deal a ton of damage. Defeat Lynel to complete the Striking North battle.
