Reports on X suggest that the file size of Bethesda Softworks’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is 131 GB.
The year 2024 has already seen several blockbuster releases in the gaming industry, such as Black Myth: Wukong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Helldivers 2. With only a month left, December brings out yet another major title, Bethesda Softworks’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
The action-adventure game is based on the iconic fictional character Indiana Jones and is the first AAA game in the franchise. Developed by the award-winning studio MachineGames in collaboration with Lucasfilm, it is all set for release on December 9, 2024, for PC and Xbox, with early access opening three days before the release.
Since it is only a few days to release, the installation size of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has reportedly leaked online recently. As per the leak, Bethesda Softworks’s AAA adventure game comes with a massive installation size.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Game Size Is Reportedly 131 GB
Two days ago, it was leaked on X (Formerly Twitter) that the installation size of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is 131 GB. The leak originated from the X user SOXXBOXOficial, an XBOX content creator, on November 30, 2024.
On the social media post, SOXXBOXOficial posted a screenshot showing the installation size of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as 131 GB (131.69 GB to be precise). The post has since been taken down.
The post had a caption that translates as:
“HUGE! Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle isn’t just BIG in name! The game’s download for Xbox Series X|S is over 130 GB, damn! It’s complicated for people who are going to play on Xbox Series S and will definitely have to uninstall something. I hope the game is a HUGE success!”
This massive file size highlights the scale and ambition of the huge project. However, whether the size will be reduced or optimized during the launch remains uncertain. If that’s not the case, the players should free up storage space by uninstalling several games to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
