The world of Inzoi is a gorgeous recreation and amalgamation of real-life cities, allowing you to hop in and mold your life as you see fit. Zois are the stars of the show, and you can create your own, become friends with other Zois, marry one, and so much more. But as much as the Zois grab the attention, one look at the game’s marketing material will tell you that the animals are just as important.
The Animals in Inzoi are what truly bring the game’s world to life. They roam about in the wild, following their own routines with their cute little perks. As you go about exploring the world, you will no doubt stumble across them. The species you can stumble upon include cats, dogs, deer, pandas, crocodiles, raccoons, squirrels, and foxes.
While we would like to say that the animals are more than just background aesthetic, that holds to be true for all animals except the cats and pandas. As of now, you can only interact with the cats and pandas in the game.

As stated earlier, you can only interact with cats and pandas in Inzoi. Since the game is still in early access, this may change later on, but for now, these two creatures are your only friends. They are cute and deserve all the love. If you’re looking to bond with cats or pandas in Inzoi, follow the steps given below:
- Head over to any cat or panda that you see and click on them to bring up the interaction options.
- You can then either choose to select the “Give Snack” or Greet with a Treat” options in the case of cats. You can give a snack with no issues, but greeting with a treat requires you to have a Coexistence Value of 60 or above. Furthermore, if your Zoi is depressed, they will have the option to “Receive Comfort Through Empathy” when interacting with the cat.
- In the case of pandas, you only have the option to feed them bamboo.
