inZOI is a promising life simulation game and is still in early access. Even at this stage, it has plenty of depth to its game mechanics. In the game, you can do pretty much everything you can do in real life. This includes marrying and having a baby, as we mentioned in our previous guide. The game has very true-to-life mechanics making it one of the best life sim games.
In this guide, we’ll be learning about how the game’s adaptation of a crucial aspect of life, going to a university. We’ll learn how you can complete your schooling and proceed to enroll your Zois into the exciting new world of college universities. So boot up your game, bring your Zois to life, and let’s get them to study for their careers in inZOI.
How To Enroll for University in inZOI
Younger Zois have to attend elementary and high school as a part of their education. Attending university is an optional quest available only to young adult Zois. This lets players choose to study further or head into careers based on their dreams. To enroll in university players can use the smartphone while at their house using the P button. This icon can be found above the bag icon as a purple logo or the “School” app. Players will find several options with different degrees no matter what city they live in.
Some of the degree programs include Business administration, Computer Science, and Multimedia Arts. Once players choose and apply, Zois will be enrolled in the degree and receive a text from the university on their smartphones. Their info and schedules will be automatically adjusted once they are enrolled.
How To Go to University in inZOI
Once you enroll your Zois, you will update their schedule to include classes three days every week from 9 AM to 5 PM. At the allotted time, the enrolled Zoi will automatically move into the university building to attend classes. At this point in the development of inZOI, there isn’t much control available for your Zois over their university life in inZOI.
By clicking on your Zoi in the sidebar, players can choose certain activities for their Zoi to add a bit of decision-making to the university’s gameplay. There are random events that pop up, which can impact your Zois academic performance and mood. Outside of class, Zoi can access their smartphone and relationship panel with some level of restrictions to their interactions.
How To Complete University Tasks in inZOI
A Zoi’s academic success at the university mostly depends on completing tasks referred to as homework. Players should avoid skipping classes to better manage their given assignments or tasks. Each day at the university, your Zoi will receive two tasks with a deadline of only a couple of hours. Zoi should prioritize these tasks unless their basic needs are at an alarmingly low level.
These assignments often involve using a computer and a bookshelf. Players make sure to choose the right book to read (a beginner book instead of an advanced one) or the correct homework option on their computer. Completing your regular tasks will improve your Zoi’s academic performance which is tracked through the school tab on the smartphone. Being unable to meet deadlines will drop your academic performance, so timely completion is important.
How To Graduate or Drop Out in inZOI
At an estimate, it takes about 8 to 10 days for your Zoi depending on the day they enrolled. Once it graduates, the system will automatically update your Zoi’s profile to show a university diploma. It’s not clear yet, whether your Zoi’s university degree has any effect on your selected career path in inZOI. No career path requires a relevant university degree, unlike real-life job opportunities.
Dropping out of university can be done using the “Drop out” button in the School Tab. Unlike real life, a warning message will appear, so players can reconsider their decision. If the player confirms to drop out, Zoi’s performance at university will reset completely. If the players decide to reapply, they will have to start their university life back from day one. So players shouldn’t consider dropping out of university unless they want to choose another career in inZOI.
