inZOI is a next-gen life simulation game developed by inZOI Studio and published by Krafton. The game is winning over fans of the genre who have enjoyed games like The Sims, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley
inZOI lets you do pretty much everything in the game that you can do in real life, like attending school and university, working 9 to 5, getting married, and eventually having a kid. Your Zois, playable characters, can simulate almost every aspect of human life.
So, why don’t you finally settle in and get to the meat of the game? This guide will get into the nitty-gritty of having a baby in inZOI. Let’s make sure your virtual toddler is as happy as your inner child (if you don’t have a kid) or a real one. So, fire up the game, wake up your Zois, and get to making a baby in inZOI.
Requirements to Having a Baby in inZOI
First of all, you need to marry your Zois to initiate pregnancy in the game. Creating a baby in inZOI requires a male and female body type dictated by the game. Players can use a nonbinary character, but the other Zoi would have to be of a different body type. Another important thing is that the baby can only be carried by a female Zoi, just like in real life.
The first step to making a baby is for your Zois to get married. Once the marriage is done, your Zoi will be able to suggest to their spouse making a baby. This will initiate an action where they head to the nearest bed and disappear behind a pink heart and fireworks.
The female Zoi will take a pregnancy test when this is done. If the test comes back positive, you’re partly successful at making a baby; if not, then try again.
How Does Pregnancy Work in inZOI
When your Zoi gets pregnant, you’ll see a pop-up message congratulating you on your pregnancy. The pop-up also informs you that the pregnancy will last three stages, or basically three in-game days. These stages aren’t really that much different, though. The message also tells you that you won’t be able to edit your pregnant Zoi’s appearance during this period.
Your pregnant Zoi may display morning sickness, which might give them a displeased mood. Your other Zoi can give them a parenting book to bring about a tranquil mood by thinking about the future. When the three stages or three days are over, you can click your pregnant Zoi to give birth.
How Childbirth Works in inZOI
After three days, you can see an exclamation mark on your pregnant Zoi to let you know they’re ready for childbirth. You can click on the Zoi to give birth otherwise, it will happen after five in-game hours.
You will see a short cutscene of your Zoi in a hospital and get a pop-up message about the baby. The message will reveal its gender and let you choose a name. While you can give your baby his custom last name, it will get his father’s name in the game’s menus.
The baby is in a crib at your Zoi’s home with a random trait and some preferences. There you have it, your very own baby in inZOI. You may as well take care of it while its childhood lasts.
