You can place different animals in the city to get the best experience of the simulation world. However, the developers implemented animals in such a way that the city does not get overwhelmed by them.

How To Place Animals in Inzoi
You can place animals by editing the city interface. Just go to the city editing section and look for the animals tab in the ‘City Decoration’ section. Note that you can only place three types of animals at a time. According to their nature, the animals will start appearing in the city. If you want to change the volume of animals, head to the animal tab in the same menu and adjust the slider. Currently, you can place the following animals in Inzoi:
- Cats
- Dogs
- Pandas
- Squirrels
- Deer
- Foxes
- Racoons
- Crocodiles

Can You Pet Animals in Inzoi?
Well, as for now, you cannot pet animals in Inzoi. For being so realistic, the game does not have this important feature. You can buy items for cats in the build mode but cannot adopt or buy a cat. The game is in early access, and maybe the developers will add a petting feature in the future update, but for now, you can only see these animals in the city. However, you can only interact with cats by giving them treats in Inzoi.
