Here is what you need to know about ARC Raiders, the platforms it supports, and whether it includes a cross-platform feature.
ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction shooter that’s currently in early access or beta phase. While the game is yet to have a full release, it has attracted attention from fans of the genre. The game is currently accessible to players who participate in the testing phase. It’s currently available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
While ARC Raiders supports these three platforms, you might be curious if there is also a cross-platform feature. Fortunately, the game does support this feature. In fact, due to the game only allowing a limited number of players, it is recommended to turn it on to lessen the matchmaking queue time.
Which Platforms Can You Play ARC Raiders
Currently, players can access ARC Raiders by registering for the tech test for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. However, keep in mind that not all players will be accepted in the beta test of the game.
Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch users will miss out on the fun as there are no announcements for a release on the platform. However, that doesn’t mean ARC Raiders will not be releasing on the Switch console. Given how it’s still in the testing phase, the future of the game remains unknown. Who knows, maybe the game would release just in time for it to have a Switch 2 release. For now, players will have to keep their eyes peeled for more updates in the future.
How to Join the ARC Raiders Tech Test
Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can join the ARC Raiders Tech Test on PC via Epic Games, PS5, or Xbox Series X/S:
- Head to the official website of ARC Raiders.
- On the home page, click the “SIGN UP FOR TECH TEST 2.”
- Select the platform you will be playing.
- Go through the process and complete it.
- Wait for an invitation for the tech test.
For Steam players, it’s much easier to register for the playtest.
- Launch the Steam app and log in.
- Search for ARC Raiders in the store.
- Scroll down to the game’s page and click the “Request Access” in the playtest section.
- Wait for the invitation to be sent.
Take note that not all applicants will be invited to join the tech test of ARC Raiders. The testing phase will also run from April 30 to May 4, 2025.
