Emiru shut down rumors about her leaving OTK after she removed the organization’s branding from her X bio.
Twitch streamer Emily “Emiru” Schunk recently removed all One True King (OTK) branding from her X account, leading internet users to speculate that she is leaving the organization. She also removed mentions of OTK-partnered projects like the Steak and Eggs podcast and Mad Mushroom. On February 22, 2025, the streamer revealed she is still part of the organization.
While she confirmed that she is still in OTK, Emiru did not specify why she removed all OTK branding from her X account. Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt and John “Tectone” Tectone recently left the organization due to controversies, leading internet users to speculate that Emiru might leave as well.
Tectone was accused of physical and sexual abuse, while Asmongold made multiple controversial statements, prompting the organization to mutually part ways with them. Internet users also alleged that Emiru defended fellow content creator Katchii after the latter performed a Nazi salute. Emiru allegedly deleted the stream that featured Katchii’s actions and banned users who clipped the incident.
Emiru Breaks Silence on Recent Speculations
While other content creators have left OTK, Emiru has seemingly decided to stay. She addressed the speculations in her Twitch chat, saying:
“idk (I don’t know) where else to post this cus no one gives a sh*t but im not leaving otk lmfao. Goodnight yall. Idk how anyone could think that. I legit didnt even know anything that happened today i thought ppl in chat asking about it were reta*ds”
OTK member Will Neff recently hinted at changes coming to the organization. He said:
“Just know that we’re trying to make changes to make it a better org and you’ll probably hear more about that in the future, in the immediate future, and if we can’t make it a better place. If we can’t make it a, happier, healthier place, then, I’ll have to reevaluate where I stand. That’s all I’m going to say about that.”

Neff hinted that he might leave the organization if changes are not made. He clarified that just because he does not address OTK’s issues on stream does not mean the organization is not taking measures to improve itself.
xQc Expects the Streamer To Leave OTK
According to Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel, Asmongold and Emiru are the two biggest “pieces” of OTK. He believes that with Asmongold gone, Emiru is likely to follow in his footsteps and become a solo streamer. xQc said in a recent stream:
“I’m not making some weird assumptions. I’m just saying, like, it seems like they’re both business-oriented or whatever, and they probably don’t care as much for the OTK overall thing, if it kinda tanks their sh*t.”
With two members leaving the organization and Neff considering quitting if OTK does not address its issues, some internet users speculate that others may do the same. Neff told his audience they could expect an official announcement from OTK in the “immediate future.”
