The start of the football season is right around the corner, and you know what that means – a new Madden NFL game. The game will coincide with the 2025 season. This will allow fans to fantasy dive into the new season with EA’s flagship title on August 14, 2025.

Madden NFL 26 promises many new changes and features, and the graphics look to be better than ever. The game is a must-own for any fan of the sport, but the $69.99 might be quite the deterrent.

If you’re someone not willing to spend all that money, you may be inclined to give it a shot on Xbox Game Pass. After all, Madden NFL 24 and 25 are both premier titles on the subscription platform. Unfortunately, Madden NFL 26 is not available on Xbox Game Pass.

As it stands, the only way to play the game is to purchase it right now, but you could still get a taste of the gameplay through Xbox Game Pass. We shall discuss this in detail below.

As stated earlier, Madden NFL 26 is not available on the Xbox Game Pass. The only way to play the full game is to purchase it. But if you’re unsure of the game and wish to have a trial beforehand, Xbox Game Pass allows you to do so.

With Xbox Game Pass (EA Play), you can have a game trial. This will allow you to try the game out for yourself, test out all its features, and come to your own conclusion on whether it is worth the full price. While it may not let you play the full game, it can help you make a decision.
