The answer is yes and no — Monster Train 2 is available on Xbox Game Pass, but not on PS Plus.

Is Monster Train 2 Available on Xbox Game Pass?
Fortunately, the Xbox Game Pass library includes the newly launched Monster Train 2. Fans of the subscription service will be pleased to learn that the sequel to the critically acclaimed card game is available on Xbox Game Pass. This means that subscribers can play Monster Train 2 for free without any additional cost. However, an active subscription is required to access the title. Players without an active subscription can purchase the game on the Xbox store for $24.99.
Is Monster Train 2 Available on PS Plus?
Things are not quite as exciting for PS users, unlike Xbox users. Unfortunately, Monster Train 2 is not included in the PS Plus subscription service. As a result, PS5 players need to purchase the game separately from the PlayStation store for $24.99—the same price as the Xbox version.
Monster Train 2 launched for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) on May 21, 2025. The sequel builds on the success of the original by retaining its core gameplay mechanics while also enhancing and introducing new features. Monster Train 2 includes new cards, clans, and more customization options to add more depth to the gameplay. Moreover, the much-requested Endless Mode provides an ultimate challenge for players with ever-increasing difficulty, testing their skills and potential to the fullest.
