YouTube megastar MrBeast confirms he is a billionaire on paper but has less than a million dollars in his bank account.
Jimmy “MrBeast” recently appeared on The Diary of a CEO podcast, where he was asked if he was a billionaire. In a surprising response, the YouTube megastar claimed he was a billionaire “on paper” but revealed that he doesn’t even have a million dollars in his bank account. He also stated that money fuels his business growth.
Earlier in February, Jimmy’s alleged creator dashboard was leaked. However, a member of MrBeast’s team debunked the leak by stating the 25-year-old earns close to $4 million per month. The figure in the fake screenshot was upwards of $4 million. During his conversation with Steven Bartlett, MrBeast stated:
“On paper, yeah. But in my actual bank account, I have less than a million dollars.”

MrBeast is the biggest individual creator on YouTube, with over 365 million subscribers. The YouTuber recently concluded his popular reality series, Beast Games. While talking about Beast Games in the podcast, Jimmy said that he had spent a lot of his own money during the show. Jimmy owns multiple business ventures that fuel his income further. Feastables, Lunchly, his merchandise store, and other investments, including his 15 YouTube channels, reportedly make him over $500 million annually.
While talking about the Amazon show, Jimmy stated that he was asked to wait for a press release and could not spill any details. However, the YouTuber stated that the series has broken and set upwards of 50 world records. He also pleaded with Amazon to sign a contract for season 2 of the show, which a lot of fans have asked for.
Reportedly, the production of Beast Games cost Jimmy and Amazon upwards of $100 million. It is unsurprising given the nature of the series and the production quality. From huge sets to an entire city, the games broke a lot of world records, according to the YouTuber.
“Amazon, let’s get Season 2 in the books already. Come on, sign a contract.”
MrBeast Aims for 2 Billion Subscribers in 10 Years
When Steven asked Jimmy about his 10-year plan, Jimmy stated that he could not predict. However, the YouTuber hopefully stated that he aims for two billion subscribers on YouTube. MrBeast stated that Feastables would have gotten over a million kids out of child labor, and he will have a kid by then. The YouTuber recently got engaged to his girlfriend Thea Booysen. The YouTuber also stated that he aims to have two or three more businesses that he is passionate about.
“The honest answer is, I don’t know. I mean, I think in what I’m doing, you know, hopefully by then I have two billion subscribers on YouTube. You know, Beast Games is bigger than we ever imagined. Hopefully, Feastables has gotten over a million kids out of child labor by then. And, you know, I probably will have two or three other businesses that I’m very passionate about that are hopefully crushing it. And yeah, just, I don’t know. And personally, maybe I’ll have a kid by then.”
