Everything you need to know about Silent Hill F’s Deluxe Edition, including its contents and whether it’s worth buying or not.

Silent Hill F is arguably one of the most highly anticipated games of 2025. While the Silent Hill series has been on a very long hiatus, it’s finally making a return to the limelight. Silent Hill F is both a continuation of the iconic survival-horror franchise and also a reimagining of its core concepts.
The game recently received a confirmed release date, alongside other key details regarding its pre-order. Much like last year’s Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill F is offered in multiple editions and is priced like a traditional Triple-A release. The game even features pre-purchase bonuses. However, the pre-order bonuses are only cosmetic in nature and don’t affect gameplay or progression.
With the game’s release looming ever closer, fans might be thinking of picking up the game for themselves. However, with there being two different editions, some fans are bound to get a tad confused with the pre-order. To help with that, here’s everything you need to know about Silent Hill F’s pre-orders and whether the more expensive Deluxe Edition is worth buying or not.
Should You Pre-Order Silent Hill F Deluxe Edition?

Silent Hill F’s Deluxe Edition is $10 more expensive than the Standard Edition. And for $80, the Deluxe Edition does offer a lot, and some fans might find it worth the price. For starters, the Deluxe Edition comes with the original soundtrack and art book of the game. Given that the game’s soundtrack is composed by Akira Yamaoka, it might be something fans of the Silent Hill series might want to keep in their collection. In addition to that, the Deluxe Edition also has an exclusive outfit for the protagonist.
Most importantly, players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can start playing the game 48 hours ahead of the official release date. For the early access alone, the Deluxe Edition is worth getting. And given it’s just $10 more over the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition is a good deal, especially if you’re a fan of the Silent Hill franchise.
That being said, you aren’t missing out on much if you stick with the Standard Edition. Furthermore, the Deluxe Edition bundle can be bought separately as a DLC post-release. As such, even if you pick up the Standard Edition, you can still get the Deluxe Edition bonuses at a later date. The only reason you would want to pre-order the Deluxe Edition is for the early access.
